Whether there is a move involved or staying in your current home knowing what to do with saved, and in many cases, unused and unwanted items can be a daunting task. We can help you downsize your surroundings - assist you with deciding what to keep, what to donate, what to sell and what needs to be discarded.

ESTATE DISPERSAL
TRANQUIL TRANSITIONS also provides services for the dispersal of household belongings after the passing of a loved one. A death in the family introduces a whole new set of responsibilities, from removing personal belongings to the complete shutdown of an established home site. Daily responsibilities or distance can make the undertaking a challenge at best.

Working under the direction of family members, attorneys or trust officers, we organize and distribute the estate according to you and your family members wishes.  From the simplest sorting, to arrangements for cleaning, repair work, Realtors and relocation services. MOVE IMPLEMENTATION

Take measurements of your furniture – determine what will fit in your new  home.

Organize / sort / downsize / we professionally pack your possessions.

Document Shredding (if requested).

Arrange for profitable dispersal of unwanted items.

Interview / schedule movers; Repair -contractors (if necessary).

Arrange shipments, pickups, storage and rubbish removal.

Assist with utility changes (gas, electric, water, telephone…).

Prepare / clean / stage interior house for sale. 

 

THE DAY OF THE MOVE  

Attend to your special needs.

Meet, direct and oversee the movers as they load and unload the contents of your home.

Unpack boxes and discard packing materials.

Re-install all household items and coordinate furniture placement.

Set up bedroom(s), living room, kitchen and bathroom(s) etc.

Connect telephone(s), PC, TV, VCR, lamps and set clocks.
Provide special finishing touches (i.e. hang pictures, curtains etc.).
